CROP WALK: “These Shoes are Not Too Big to Fill” Outreach Ministries is looking for walkers and supporters for the 2010 CROP WALK. The CROP WALK is Sunday, September 26 at 1:00 P.M. beginning at Grace Church, and there is a short or long route from which to choose. Outreach Ministries has established a goal for Grace Church of 15 walkers to raise $1500. Each walker is identified on a “tennis shoe” at the front of the church. If you are interested in participating as a walker, please contact Roger Wood. If you would like to support CROP WALK, any of the walkers would be delighted to accept your pledge or contribution. These shoes are not too big to fill. Join CROP (Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty) and walk with Grace. Pulpit Exchange with St. Paul’s Flint TODAY! Pastor Bob has been invited by the rector of St. Paul’s Church in Flint to preach and share about the South Dakota Mission Trip today. Please welcome The Rev. Heather Barta, Assistant for Christian Formation at St. Paul’s to Grace Church. She will preside and preach at both the 8 and 10 am Eucharists. Heather participates at the Diocesan level by serving on the board for Camp Chickagami, as a member of the Standing Committee and as the preaching instructor for the Coppage-Gordon School.
